Been trying to find a decent BMW forum and there all naff must be cos' im so used to all you wonderful folks :w00t:

 

Not getting anywhere with my couple of problems, will give it a shot here.

 

1995 525ix E34 auto awd saloon

 

1. The heater only works in position 4 (top speed)

 

The normal fix for this is the heater blower resister, I purchased a brand new one from local BM dealer for £31. No joy, what could be the problem after the resister?

 

2. Getting a fair amount of white smoke no coolant loss. Its cold outside but more smoke then normal. If I floor the car I get a huge monster cloud that looks like a nuke went off im my rear view mirror. Just poodling along its ok just anoying.

 

Do these have something similiar to PCV hoses like on the Z ?
