I have AVG anti virus installed and zone alarm,but since siginging up to YouTube,I have got a trojan.I keep getting pop ups telling me I have mutiple infected watever,Trojan horse etc,It says its AVG,but AVG isnt picking it up.I installed 'malaware' to scan and it found stuff,removed it but this is still here,poping up every few seconds,also I try searching on google etc,it goes to other search pages/sites instead of the page I wanted.Anyone got any ideas before i reformat.Its sooooo annoying

I had this and downloaded the microsoft essentials antivirus/malware tool and had no probs since

I don't recommend AVG any more due to a few recent problems, Avast has knocked it off the top for me. However, as mentioned the Microsoft Essentials seems fairly trouble free so far ....

Agreed !!! get it off your system and use avast or bit-defender 2010

Thanks guys,I uninstalled AVG and the problems seems to have gone away!Nice one!!

make sure you replace it though you dont want to be surfing the net long without protection, i've used bit defender for three years now without one issue !

you can get kaspersky quite cheap,,,ive got this on all my computers,,and is the dogs danglys,,,
