A little update how im getting along, helps to motivate me :tooth:

Pretty much getting there, very close to getting some paint on.

First had to renew sills and make good underneath of car. The sills I wont be able to get to without ripping of the kit and undersealed the bottom.

Welded up and the undersealed, was my first time with a welder and went pretty good all in all. One mishap where I set my shoe on fire.

The rear arches are very tricky to get lined up. I mainly focused on getting the side skirt / door area lined up and ended up losing it abit at the back stopping the rear bumper linning up. You can see the back sits lower. Was easily fixed by taking a spirit level from the back corner to the back wheel arch and then running an angle grinder through. Nice and straight again.

Good work, will be good to see it completed.

I will get a coat of primer on asap as have some bare metal. But dont think a top coat will dry in this weather. So may have to leave that to spring time.

Looking fantastic mate. love the front bumper lol!!!

The only thing i would do is use some fiberglass paste between the rear bumper and the arches to pervent the filler cracking.

Thats a good idea, ive got some flexiable bonding glue left over. Think that should do the trick.

Dave was referring to using P40 fibreglass filler/paste. Using the flexible bonding will allow the paint to crack with any movement in the joins.

I had this problem with my rear one piece light panel.

I used the P40 for strength then a flexible plastic bumper filler on top.

Look forward to seeing it finished, should look really smart.

Fair play to you bud. Looks like you've done a great job. Nice one.

Well done mate, like to see D.I.Y !:cool2:

Brave fella blending the bumper to the quarters tho'!:surrender:
