Could you please help, replacing hoses with Demon tweek braided, any ideas as to the diameters that I should order.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Yeah - you want 8mm hose, anything that will withstand 50psi constant pressure..

Can't remember the part codes, but they're helpful people - they may only do 5/16", which is fine - it's just under 8mm. And some hose finishers - this is important as most hose clips don't have the clamping pressure required to clamp stainless hose.

When you cut it, wrap insulation tape around where you want to cut, put it in a vice, and cut with a hacksaw. Helps stop frayed ends, makes the finishers easier to get on.

Hope that helps - sorry it took a while to reply smile.gif

Forgot to say - make sure you specify that you need high pressure hose for fuel injection - not carb! carbs generall run at low pressures.. Personally I got hose rated at 100psi constant, 250psi burst (not actually from Tweeks, but they sell almost the same stuff)

Oh and if your car explodes, it weren't my fault biggrin.gif

Will be doing a writeup soon BTW on relocating the fuel regulator to the inner wing & fitting SS hoses etc.

Thanks for your help, I wish I could return the favour and offer a solution to your loom. Not a chance....

Other than to wish you all the patience and luck required for working on a Zed.

Thanks Mark, hopefully between Leigh and myself we might get it sorted tonight (I'll break out the *bigger* crowbar wink.gif)
