Jeff sent me some pics yesterday of the wide body kit , so no pics to post on here as our firewall prohibits it and the off the pc method doesnot work ....anyway its looking good and going smooth .....not long before its up and running and turning many heads no doubt..and with 450 BHP at the wheels and a leader gear set in the diff it will no doubt be a car and a half to drive.........look out lancaster :) :)

Nice one, would love to see some pics aswell, didnt realise you were so close, I was in Morecambe last week picking up a tv from KirbZ.

did you go for the z-centre kit?

Are you keeping the black/red leather?

Nice, mine's coming along pretty well. Just the weather holding me up, doubt Id be able to spray him this year. But got the paint already, Mercedes Arctic white.

so looking forward to it Alan ..its been a long time coming together ....for one reason or another...for now i am keeping the leather but i am thinking about stripping the weight right down and putting some carbon buckets in there at some time in the future .....pity i wasnt home Daz me you and Kirbz could have a made a day of it,

Oh yeah! I'm always left out ;)

Glad its coming along well mate, send me the pictures in an email if you want me to put them up for you? :)

Haha no my car is... I've been home all week. I still have my van to get around. Hopefully going to go back and get the old girl on friday, trusting nothing untoward has happened with this stupidly cold weather.

looking great

i do hate when people write in dust on cars, it scratches the paint and will need correcting, and doing it on glass scratches the glass

Here a few tasters, the paint choice is gorgeous, in the sun it really come alive, in the shade it looks really rich, only area build up paint has been done so far like the engine bay headlight area etc. going to look great when the body is done, as often the case the kits don't fit exactly and you can see on the drivers side how the kit needed to be cut and an extra fillet fabricated, similar on the sill section on the same side, this is of course is to make it all symmetrical the extra time and attention now will pay dividends later.

The rear wide arches section been carefully fittted without the need to cut open the inner and outer skin of the original arch by malipulating the metal, fillet section have been fabricated to complete the gap free fit over the complete inner arch.
