Got me a dyno session in solihull tomorrow morning! Im interested to see what my zed is kicking out now, and serves as a good benchmark before further tuning.

 

Its a 1990 zed, TT Manual, 73k on the clock. Engine mods are an apexi induction kit, decatted and custom exhaust, and slightly larger ARC intercoolers. No other mods.

 

Question is - what HP is it gonna make? (At the wheels)

 

To start the ball rolling, my target is 250hp at the wheels, so with a 20% loss through drivetrain, gets me up to 300hp again!

 

Closest to the actual answer gets the respect and admiration of other forum members. what more could you want :)

aww cant remember his name now... its not weston performance though, you want to speak to rev-it - thats who had the dyno. same facilities, just split in two i believe.

 

And yes, get a group day sorted for the new year! Im in. I paid £35 for three runs with the mx5 oc.

Greg Gush, who basicly was Weston performance, left this year and set up on his own, near Reddich. Haven't been to Weston since then. I know Paul quite well, i priced an extention on his house. he lives round the corner.

its 20 years old! i wasnt expecting it to still be factory fresh!

maybe so my friend, but many dynod 300zx have shown over 300hp with light mods such as yours. im not having a dig Brillomaster. but maybe look into having a 'fresh' tune up.
