i spat my coffee out with laughing when i saw the engine a hundred yards from the car .... i'm a bad person :death:

they the same alloys as Baz has on his?

Not a good crash though, must of been running NOS for the car to go up in flames like that.

So from what i can tell, the zed slid across the road, spat its occupant out who died. caught fire. then the first skyline avoided the zed, impacted the barrier and caught fire. the 3rd skyline then hit the back of the zed, then hit the barrier, rolled over and back onto its wheels where it rested against the opposite barrier.

2 fatalities and 3 injured. R.I.P

Either your Japanese is very good, or you should be an accident investigator. All i could deduce was the engine came out of the smouldering burnt thingy, and the white crumpled thingy wasn't quite as bad, but the driver probably lost his head.

Very sad, let's hope no-one on here has a big accident.

scarey, scarey shit! agreed tho i was always led to believe it was rare for cars to explode on impact, seen a few get but to the ground over the years. i wonder just how fats they where going to turna zed into tinfoil? horrific!

Bad crash that like. I really like the wheels the zed had

They are Stern 3/2 piece split rims. I had a set but had to sell them :-(

Spooky seeing them in that situation. Not nice. RIP.

they must have been wearing no seats belts to be thrown out

thats the only reason i survived my zed crash, i was thrown clear before it exploded

broken ankle and wrist is a lucky escape, why no seatbelt though in the first place?

always thought it was a bit dangerous being attached to the door, didnt break ankle it was still swollen from an operation 2 weeks before, hand was ok just looked like i had put on a rubber glove and blew it up, broke the little toe on me left foot and cracked a couple of ribs, the first wall i hit had collapsed on top of me and pinned me to the kerb, cant really remember much of what happened apart from changing gear and the next thing i know im totally sideways, just glad there was nobody else hurt

lucky escape. yes my mates take the piss out of the seatbelts being on the door- but i trust the japs when it comes to outrageous ideas :D , yeh like u say least noone else was hurt and at least u were ok.

the jap spec has a better safety rating than the 350z due to the seat belts being on the door, don't ask me how, but its safer than the UK spec one too.

i did'nt think the Z32 had a safety rating at all? Pre-dates all that ? Googled the 350z and it has really good results, 4-5 stars out of 5 in each area.

If it does have a rating then the results dont make sense - if the door does not fly open in a crash then wether its on the pullar or the door would make no difference that i can conceive.....yet clearly if the door does fly open and the belt is on it - your ****ed !

Nissan even got rid of the belt on the doors of Jap models from 92 onwards.
