Electric fan

Very strange,has anyone ever heard the electric cooling fan come on,I never have,but if I disconect it,then it comes on.

Yes, mate, mine comes on the odd time, but if you move the wires at the front of the engine that go into the temp sensor it goes off. I think I have an overheating problem anyway!

electic fan is for the Freon in the AC Matrix - Basically it will only come on under a certain set of circumstance - basically Temp and Speed i think .

 

It wont cause over heating but will vent you Freon if it gets too hot.

 

If you need to know more check the service manual section it will tell you the parameters - If you disconect the coolant Temp sencor it should activate - If you dont have a service manual let me know - IO will findout for ya

Leccy fan is even two speed on a TT but as Nico says is speed and temp related.
