Hi guys, this is what happened.

 

I turned from cleveland road towards uxbridge road at about 3:27pm today, there was a black 4 door audi coming up behind me very fast and he wasnt happy with my turn. He was coming too close to my back but there were cars in front of me and i couldnt go anywhere, in the mirror i could see two guys in the car and they were showing me their fingers. Then we came up to a traffic light and they got down from their car and came up to my window. i had two passengers in the car and no where to go so it was a difficult situation. the whole time they were swearing and asking me if i want a fight, and one of them kicked my door, LUCKY no damage (fresh paint). Anyway the light turned green and so i managed to get away quick. Called police and told them what happened, luckily i got the registration number.

 

The driver was in his late 40s or early 50s, the passenger was probably in his 30s. The police didnt seem too interested when i spoke to them and this made me really mad. In the eyes of the law it seems like i would have to be beaten up for the police to be interested in this case.

 

Anyway thank god no damage, although i will definately be looking out for them around uxbridge, and i hope that anyone on this forum living around uxbridge will keep an eye out for them as well, if only to stay away from them. I have the registration number so if anyone wants it let me know, i am not sure if i can post it here.

hes a psycho i think, i am not a fightin person but i am quite a strong person and i do boxing regularly, but u know in a situation like that these crazy guys couldve have pulled any weapon out and ruined my day. a good friend of mine was shot dead 4 years ago in fulham for confronting some idiots, i dont want the same to happen to me or anyone i know.

You did the right thing in not reacting and jusy get away from the lowlife when you could.Lets hope the boys in blue can do something.

Something similar happend to a friend of mine,drunk guys on the pavement being as*holes,ended up the car door got kicked,three of my mates in the car had a fight in the middle of the road with the guys lol,they got taught a lesson!some people need to learn that way,sickening that the poilce wont do anything until somebody gets hurt.You did the right thing and got out of there,things can get much worse if you react in a situation like that.Always the same,you mind your own business and somebody comes into you day to try ruin things...

forget fighting back mate, ive done enough and youll gain nothing even if you have a few witnesses these days, makes me want to be a copper, atleast then i can report the incident to my self lol,

 

but mate cant believe this happened on uxbridge road. get the police invovled and let them know theres damage to your car like the above member has mentioned.

Problem the Police have is you report it and the other people will deny it, word against word :( I'd agree, see if there's any CCTV then get the Police involved.

yeh guys, the police called me yesterday and said that unless they find any cctv footage then nothing will happen. even when i told them there is a visible dent on the car they just say theres nothing much i can do. makes me want to be a vigilante now, most of us here work bloody damn hard to maintain our zeds, i had mine resprayed recently and full interior done and this bloody loser comes along with a red face and kicks the door.

 

So glad we moved away from the citys, they keep getting worse imo.

Lol just an update guys,

 

po po, five - oh, po-lice, contacted me the other day. they said that they will not be following up the case, for two reasons.

 

a. There was no cctv footage of the incident (undderstandable and as I expected)

 

b. This takes the buscuit, the police man said that they cannot find the car at the house that it is registered to, so they cannot pursue the case.

 

And when I questioned the pooliceman about why they dont follow up the case based solely on the fact that they cannot find the car, he said to me that 'its just not possible'

 

Seriously once my Phd is over im skipping the country along with my zed; not going to waste my tax money in this country any more.

That's crap luck mate, mind you if he barely dented your door with a kick I'd imagine you'd have smacked him down in a confrontation. Shouldve just dumped the clutch and stepped on the brakes n sideswiped the bugger. On a separate note, what spoiler you got? It looks funky cool :)

Couldn't agree more vijay, but you did the right thing, as you have said, you don't know what weapons these morons are carrying with them. Your door can be repaired of the small dent, I know you should't have to repair it because of some low life scum, but your life cannot be replaced, the police are not interested in anything these days.......:censored:

(*Disclaimer* I would never do this, neither should you :) Just keep his registration written on a piece of paper stuck to your sunvisor, keep yours eyes open, maybe one day you will see the car, little bit of following, confirm the driver, then, erm, start planning, eye for an eye... Probably best if your not in your zed tho, i think he'll recognise it somehow, maybe give his reg to as many of your trustworthy mates as you can, I know I'd keep my eyes open for mate who got shafted like that... Thinners....? Anyway, don't do anything like that because it's bad, mmmmmkay? ;-)

It shows how usless the police are thanks to goverment cut backs and police policys its no wonder people are taking things into there own hands because of there lack of action.
