My mates cat Scampi was rushed to the vets Wednesday as had been acting odd for a few days. Was a little off his food and a bit depressed. Nothing emensly worrying until Wednesday night when we notised him limping then drooing a lot so we got him off to the vets.

After bood tests he has been confirmed he has ingested antifreeze and is on a drip. No idea if he will make it but fingers crossed.

Just as a side note please take care when topping up your cars over the winter and mop up any spills.

I didnt know cats and dogs both find antifreeze sweet and tasty and are more than happy to drink it. A couple of tea spoons will kill.

We are hoping Scampi walked through some and just licked it off his paws and wont be too bad, but who kows :(
