Morning all, looking for some more help !,

 

i decided to replace the standard gauges in my jap spec 93 300 ZX TT, i bought a new set from a later model which are a lovely silver white coulour on the face, when comparing the two units whilst they are similar the new type unit has slightly different connections on the back, nor does it have two sockets either side of the binnacle like ears, physically they are the same size, can i simply insert the new clocks into the old panel, will they still work correctly etc

Repost this in the help and avice section matey... There are differences in the plugs from the older and newer clocks, not sure whether changing the actual dials into the old housing will work, possible I guess? But I dunno....

Yes, in most cases I seem to remember that you can put the new units in the old housing and all should be fine.
