I remember his coffin passing me on the way into Roselawn Cemetery and I am not ashamed to say I shed a tear for the loss of one of our most famous sons.

 

This is a quote I will always remember, made by a waiter in a hotel on entering Besties room with champagne and found him entertaining Miss World in her scanties and the bed strewn with their casino winnings. "George, where did it all go wrong?"
