It turns over and there's deffinatly fuel getting to it, it was fine yesterday, only thing I did was top up with antifreeze, could it have something to do with my lack of an egr valve? I mean I was trying for ages and it didn't even try to fire up???

Well, the dash light problem may or may not be related to not starting. However, when you said there was fuel, did you mean in the rail, or in the cylinders? If the injectors are not releasing then check for CAS or ECU faults.
