It looks a bit like a rear end that stillen do, but it's not the same.

To be honest Craig - i'm not really sure, I have been scouring ebay of late, and am tempted on a set of new brakes, some new coilovers, and some new wheels.... all this while trying to get the manual conversion done!!!!

 

Perhaps i should just stick to one thing at a time.

 

And as an aside, just to confirm, i would do what i like, because as you say - Its my car. I just wanted to know if anyone knew what the bumper was?

 

And Vods, I appreciate your honesty mate..... but i reckon your back end looks worse at the moment bud!! :oops::x::x::whistling:

Spot on legrath or youser LOL nice name change. it is my old back bumper and yes the car it came off ruined my love for the 300zx. But its a nice rear bumper, always likes it and the front one and the wheels. pity the car they were attached to was a shite heap

See the attitude in here hasnt change, when i had the car i had lots of good praise for the rear bumper, now i sell it on ebay it the worst ever seen lol

You can say what you want about my rear end :thumbup: but it doesnt distract from the fact that if you put that on your car, your just going to lower your standards.

 

Now dont get me wrong. im not turning funkySi on you here, and i very rarely say that i dont like something to the point it makes me want to throw up. but even with my back end the way it is at the moment, still looks 10 times better than that.

 

But it still is your car so you can do what you want with it matey, i just like how it is at the moment. here is a recent picture of my rear end for you though.

Yes the bumper doesnt fit as there is still some repair work to do under it, but the weather is putting it on hold at the moment.

 

every one has there own ideas, i like the look of your rear bumper too Vod.

Bit of wood and a rubber mallet, but it has some high patches to sort out and then it needs filling, but managed to get the rough shape back using just the wood and mallet. i now have a professional set of panel hammers and mad max's spot weld puller for the panel under the rear bumper.

 

When the weather is a bit better. going to take the paint off that I've put on it. and get it back to bear metal. then going to pull the lower panel and reshape all the metal and try and get it as close to original as possible. then tackle the bit you can see in the photo. going to tap the high points back down, and then filler and shape the rest. once its done shouldn't even be noticeable. :D

BTW - did you sort your interior out? as that glue i had for you has set a bit so might be no good to you. Also i still need to come and give you your ramps back. I am defo in the area on Boxing day, but if need be i will pop up befor then to come and see you and Tess and of course give your ramps back..... They have been mighty useful.

The bumper looks bad off the car when i saw the first pic, but on the car,to me it actually looks good.Im my opinion,theres way too many ugly kitted Zeds in the world.More ugly zx's than good looking ones,there again,one persons ugly is anothers beauty.But some folks have zero style or taste and dont help with the cars image!lol.I think that one looks alright!!
