Squeeking niose

There is a squeeking noise coming from one of my wheels of my car. I think its only happening when I am turning slightly.

It sounds very much like when you squeeze one of those squeeky toys slightly.

Its not like long squeek, its like bouncing on a bed.

Any one any idea what it is?

It depends were and when the noise comes.

is it front . back . left . right .

over bumps ?

as you travel along?

The most common thing i have found is.

if its from the rear then itcould be anti -roll bar bushes dry. or even the inner joints on the rear hicas unit.

front again anti rollbar bushes or lower arm bushes dry..

try ..

Its at slow speeds when I am turning, but only when I am turning slightly. Its not over bumps.

I think its from the front.

My dad thinks its from the back.

My HICAS dont work. Its been disabled.

I know that one of my lower arm bushes need replacing.

Hi SRRAE,

Not trying to trivialise the situation, but have you checked the tension on the wheel nuts. I developed an identicle squeaking from one of my rear wheels in the summer, found that one nut was torqued too tight. Retorqing it has since solved the problem.

Good luck !

Amer.
