Hi does anyone had a problem with auto door lock. driver side door is good put passenger door doesn't work. I check fuse that is ok. I had the same problem before but that was fuse fail. but now fuse is ok but passenger side door and interior light not working :(

Its the fuse for the interior light, you will find the door solenoid is on the same circuit for the alarm. Mine did exactly the same thing recently, thought i would have to have the door card off to investigate, then realised my interior light was also out. Changed the fuse and hey presto, all working again.

Oh thanks mate for your help but could you explain me more what interior light was out?

Both interior lights, map and centre light was out. I would re check your fuse again. If it defintely isnt the fuse, you will need to take the whole kick panel off around the fuse box and locate the TCU

The TCU( time control unit) is situated at the bottom near the door of the kick panel, which controls a multitude of things including interior light.

EL75 is the page you want, cant seem to get it to link to that page for some reason

You may have a track burnt or corroded, which is causing the problem.

You could try and solder it yourself or get a secondhand one from JeffTT or post an add up in the wanted section, there are a few members with breakers at the minute.

Or test the room lamp relay, behind the rear passenger kick panel

Craig, check the relays and connections in your passenger kick panel. Where youve had your doors off etc for the respray, you might have a loose connection.

More than likely the door barrel keeps turning! Has been a few with this problem, do a search for door lock.

Mine had the same problem when i first got the car but my mate fixed it. he's a whiz with electronic stuff but i don't know what he did. I know he had both door panels off and cut into some wires to test them to see if the motor was ok then jumped some more wires from the ones he cut into if that'a any help.

looked at that link, looks a mitemare to do, ideally id be able to press a button on a fob and work the central locking, is that a seperate system that would have to be installed or could u buy a fob and programme it to work?

My passenger one also was sticking but it was lack of use and by locking and unlocking with the key it soon loosens up and starts working with the central locking agaon. Guess it needs a strip down and clean and lube!
