I think you have to fabricate the frames to fit, madmax did the same thing. I would say check his rides, there is a link to his website project300tt, but its been hacked at the minute, ive let him know but no reply as yet.

I bought universal ones then made brackets out of steel to bolt them to the original holes and studs. It took me a day each side to do as the steel was so tough using an airsaw and a blow torch and some decent drill bits and vice. Mine are Recaros but they dont make frames for the 300zx.

You can take a set off some stock seats and use them as a basis, did that for my cobras then just welded some cross braces onto them, drilled to suit and job done.

I purchased some universal frames then cut and welded the floor mounting points of a stock frame onto the universal frame.

I initially used stock frames, modified to fit my Cobra's but found they sat to high for my preference.

Yeah, cannibalise the originals and modify some universal ones as said above, gotta make sure the welds are good I would imagine tho, as the seat could come adrift in an accident...

My Recaros were too high to use the old runners as they are to high and the steering wheel does not adjust. Make sure you can get in the car before you do this.
