I recently saw a 98 car similar mileage and spec for £2,500.

.......Exactly! And what shape is it; as IIRC the 230 kompressor engine was briefly carried over into the 2nd generation. Could be wrong there though.....

 

Also the manual 'box is a big minus in the value of a Merc; autos are normally worth a lot more!

Cool car, but £2000 i'd say. Take the nasty wheels off and you would have more chance of selling it tho.

The number I first thought of was £2500.
