Struggling to decide,

 

I have project 1 on ebay at the moment starting at 4k, 17 watchers but no bids, have an EVO 4 worth around 3200. I need to sell the Zed at the very least and maybe the evo. Options so far

 

An offer of a swap for another Z, very tempted but not sure I can go that low on the deal really, makes mine worth about 3500 and considering it has new rebuilt forged engine and 500bhp etc..

 

A swap for the evo for a mondeo diesel estate 2004 plate which would mean just selling the Z or part ex and cash, about 3k needed.

 

Or just wait it out.

 

I don't know what to do, I really need a car gone but want to still have a weekend toy but a cheaper one :confused::confused:

You're definately loosing out if you were to straight swap the evo for a mondeo diesel estate. My dad just bought one for £1750 - although that was cheap off my brother in law but I don't think they're worth anything like £3k are they? If so I'll tell my dad he'll probably sell it on:lol:

It seems a shame to sell the zed after you have put so much work into her. wait it out fella if you can, Dont let a lovely car like that sell for peanuts.

On autotrader at around 3k, this one is 46k miles one owner. This is such a pain in the a@se!

No way of raising cash elsewhere and keep the zed till the nice weather should be able to sell her easier and for proper money then?

Typing a for sale ad for the EVO now, really thought the Z would have sold (ebay messers) hence why I got the EVO :crying:

how about pistonheads fella, I havent ever had any bad experiences from there and ive bought & sold quite a few cars on it

If going for a modeo diesel make sure the clutch is 100% good! They cost more to replace then the car is worth!

 

Most people just throw them away to the scrap man than fix them!

 

As has been said, go the pistonheads route and see what happens :)

I think the deal with swopping it for anothe zed is the best. You still get to keep a zed, but have a bit of money too!:thumbup:

Currently sorn as insurance on the zed but tax until March 2011, completely standard except for exhaust. Very good condition, only slight wear on drivers seat, which are recaros, ayc.

 

Not sure on mpg as drove it for a week on free insurance and been waiting for the zed to go ever since, only 65k miles to.

Will take some interior ones tomorrow if it stops raining. Cam belt was done 13000 miles ago and has 4 go tyres the OZ alloys
