Hey Dougal! I`ve had a little play tonight and split the whole fuse box apart so each fuse and relay is seperate ,this gives us another 6 or so inches to play with, I discovered that the individual fuses sit around and inside the headlight unit, the picture below is just temporary but I will position and retape the loom in that positon and mount the fuses on a mounting board and cover with a flat plate, it seems to work ok and keeps them inside the car itself which idealy I wanted.

Thanks also to Philp who popped round to help a hand :flowers:

Man on a mission. I still think you should have a look in the arch though. There is the hole below the headlight where the loom comes through - now you taken the fuses/relays out of the box they'd all push through nicely! At worst if you needed to check a fuse you'd have to pop off the wheel and loosen the arch liner.

Your going to have one hell of a job changing the bulb if that's where you plan on keeping them, bulbs go more than them fuses do, get it down in the arch mate, cant you push around in neutral?

Yeh I agree too, will turn my car around weekend and have a gander, I like the position of them at the moment as they are flush with the inner front section and I`m contamplating making a hidden fibreglass box to house them in, I really dont fancy having them outside the car due to salt, water, corrosion, ect, but will take a look and decide then, I can see where your coming from and at the moment nothings cut apart from 4 wires and they can go back in the correct box if i decide to move the fooker agian

thanks for your help before :flowers:

No I agree, I will take my hat off to you for your lovely engine bay, but as i previously said mine WILL be better and you will take your clothes off for mine, not bodged, just pure proffesionalism, and uncluttered and the DADDY:lol::lol:

Yeah it will look sweet. i think you can go to smooth imo and you lose some off the character of the engine bay, With a nice cover and chrome pot i think it make it more impressive. Its surpose to look big and impressive. Take everything away and it starts to look like a fiesta lol!!!!

As for yours being better. never will be its an na and i will have 4 more shiney pipes than you :tt2:

:lol: Please dont tempt me to put a TT in it, cause i will :sweatdrop: Philp`s been at me for a while for me to TT it, but i like it as it is,

As for the engine bay with all the bits in, it feels unbalanced to me nothing is symetrical and it looks uneven:wink:, Its my little goal to do this over the winter, the goal posts do keep changing, but its the look i want. so Im going for it:gunsmilie:

good for you mate. will look sweet when its done.

do you want a 99 spec spoiler for the vert?

ewwwww no thats horrid.

I think the rear bumper you have on a 99 spec would look spot on imo. I always think the verts need a little something on the rear

i think you guys need to get a room and sort out your issues, but i digress.

im intrigued to see where you are going with the relocation idea. im going to try to get mine under the headlight panel tomorrow.

not sure about the rear spoiler, i really like the smooth look on the vert.

Ps daz dont go filling etc unless you really mean it, you start one bit then need to do the next, it spirals out of control and you end up with a completely stripped car and a full restoration in front of you.

good work though

Don't know what its trying to be to be honest. Firstly what's he done to the engine? Covered it up with some piece of shitty plastic. Secondly because of the lines of the zed its hard to pull off a two tone - never mind a three tone. And why did he paint the door handles silver.

I don't think the wide arches suit the shorter wheelbase of the vert - look out of proportion to the car.

Then to top off the technicolor theme its car a partial red interior

Its looks well done - lots of money - but it doesn't work (in my humble opinion :cool2:)
