Its Amazing how they can just rename a full region and put a city name in it

so that people will try to recognise it !

 

Why don't we just rename scotland while were at it - JustAboveEnglandVille !!

As much as I laughed at United London; It made me think of United Edinburgh !!

This was all done by Corby Borough Council and guess how many people moved to the new housing estates advertised..... 1 !!! Cost them a fortune (on the Northern line papers etc) and got nothing from it.

 

Corby added the surrounding areas later to convince people that the advertising had worked. There have been quote a few Londoners move to our village but there was no way they would move to Corby.

Wellingborough, kettering and corby have always been a london overflow town. most of the people who live in my town of wellingborough commute to london as our train station goes strait to st pancreas
