If he had just given the guy a beating he would most likely be dead by now as the other scumbags would have come to their mates aid and beaten the guy to death, this has happened a number of times in the UK as teenagers off their heads end up killing someone. The stabbing is extreme but probabaly also saved the guys life by scaring the others off. The country takes one spin around the pan on its way down the toilet. This was un-necessary if such problems were nipped in the bud early it would never escalate to these levels the guy now has to live with this persons death on his conscious forever, I dont expect he would take a medal if it were offered to him.

Why has my post been removed? All it said was "overkill".

Cant see any posts removed in this thread mate.

Wow, I'm shocked. The majority of you are saying that it's ok to kill someone becuase he pissed through your letter box. I'm finding this hard to believe since the majority of you are also adults which families. Very very shocked. :(

Think its more to do with the guy having to put up with that crap from the dead fella for too long and the area as a whole becoming so bad that people cant leave their homes cos of that kind of scum.

The offence on its own is not justified enough to kill him. Add it all together and it becomes less harsh

he could of just as easily killed him with one punch... stabbing does seem a bit harsh, but, we all have our limits, he wasn't the youngest of people, and if it has been going on for years, i say medal.

If you act like a yob making vulnerable peoples lives a misery just for a selfish laugh or to act big in front of your friends then be prepared to face the consequences no matter how severe. No sympathy for the lowlife yob if he did that to my door he would at the very least be eating through a straw

Mmmm, I don’t feel I can condone Murder even if it is accidental…. To take it further if the people of the neighbourhood got together and sorted the yobs out it might not have appended…. but there is always a problem with vigilantism in that innocent people also get hurt…. I remember a reported incident on an estate where a podiatrist was accused of being a paedophile….be ware the stupid.

I do feel sorry for the guy in jail and the kid with no dad now…. Not that he had much of a dad before, what chance has he got now.

I don’t feel sorry for the yob scum, who brought it on himself!!

diks getting pushed through your letter box is just the thin edge of the wedge..iff someone has the nerve to do this then he has no comprehension or respect of people and i believe would take this vile act further if not caught with some payback:angry: Getting stabbed sends out a message to his retard homies that retaliation can and does come in bigger bags than a slap on the wrist with 10 hours comunity service. Dont forget it could of been YOUR old mother or a young mother with small children facing this barbaric harrasment,if it was in the USA his mother would of got his head in a plastic bag mixed with fragments of a 50 caliber bullet and within the law in some states

no worse than the farmer who shot and killed the gyppo who broke into his house

the kids round the corner from us have a similar father to the one killed, they are nowt but fookin trouble, they are just like him, one year the youngest kid at the time (bout 12) was standing in the garden with no clothes on, fag in one hand cider in other sticking his fingers up at me and shaking his titchy nob as i drove past, his mother and father sat and laughed

the father died a couple of years later high as a kite on a stolen motorbike, he nearly hit a young child while riding on the road, he swerved and hit a lampost, split his head in two and died, no loss on my behalf but alas the damage was done the kids are going just like him

maybe the young child of the dead person is going to get a better life without him?

The problem is, the judicial system in the country is shot the hell, ok from what we can see in the US where the system is a lot more harsh, it still doesn't work, but in the US in some states a man has a right to protect his own property.

In this country we get the right to shut our door and ignore it. that's about it. any retaliation from the person getting the abuse is punished as according to our laws two wrongs don't make a right.

If someone has continually harassed my family, and the police, which i can guarantee said "Nothing we can do with out evidence of who ever it is", and even with evidence would of just given the offender community service in court or even just a anti social behaviour order, which means absolutely nothing to people like this. i too would of finally snapped. what i would do is not for me to say as i am not in that situation to find out.

But the bottom line here, is that the police have their hands tied by stupid laws past by stupid people.

The other problem is. unlike America where most prisons are run like a prison, here they are run like holiday camps, so there is no real deterrent due to another stupid law called "human rights"

Don't blame the guy for protecting his family, blame the system for not letting us protect our family and for a failing police force that only responds to easy targets.

case in point.

My dad phoned the police when he see someone across the road from him being burgled. he rang 999 while the burglars were ransacking the house. the house belonged to a friend of my dads and he was on holiday. now considering that they were doing the deed when my dad rang, and were in the house a good 20mins while they loaded up a car, the police had ample time to get the 1.2miles from the station to the house to arrest the suspects while in the process of loading the car up. when the police finally arrived some 1 and a half hours later. no surprise that the burglars had vanished and already gotten away, the guy came back from holiday and still no arrests had been made. even though my dad gave them the reg number of the car. it didn't matter as it was found burnt out 5 miles away.

If the police had turned up with in a few minutes of my dad ringing, the guy would of had all his stuff still and two burglars would of been doing at least 3months in butlins......oops i mean jail.

How Ridiculous is it that i am not allowed to protect my family and property from little shits who dont give a **** about anything or anyone other than themselves, and not even themselves in many cases. if someone was threatening my pregnant lady, i dont think ide be able to sit back and do nothing as the police would advice, anything more than this and suddenly im the criminal???????

The Justice system is shambolic in this country!!!!

If you are going to 'defend your property' or however you like to put it, the punishment you dish out has to fit the crime. Stabbing and killing someone for pissing through your letter box is way out of line.

Tony Martin, who Stella refers to, who shot a burglar in the back and killed him as he was running away went OTT thus ending up in jug. Had the burglar confronted him or been running towards him then his would be a different story.

Our local Karate champion returned home one night to find a burglar (with his bag of swag) climbing down his drainpipe and confronted the man. The man offered violence to our Champion who beat him to pulp. In Crown court our Champion got a pat on the back from the judge and a small financial reward. The burglar received a severe sentance and upon complaining about his beating was told by the Judge that it was an occupational hazard!

LOL... got to love that Judge...:clap::thumbup::thumbup1:

If they weren't acting illegally they'd still be alive simple as. Act like shit and shit happens.

Beating the shit out of him....yeah......BUT killing him because of that....seriously ridiculous.

its a shame the guy didnt stick his knob through our letterbox as the springs on it are so fierce he would probably cut his own bell off as he tried to pull it back through...........its coming to something though that the guy had to stab him because in all fairness he couldnt just open the door and give him a bollicking as he would most likely have been given a beating for it

but thats how it ends up these days as there's no real punsihment to make people think about their actions

Tony martin woke up at night in his unlit house, see two silhouetted figures and took a shot at them. too damn right. i see nothing wrong with that. after all the law states reasonable force. considering he was out numbered, had no idea how many were in the house still, alone on a farm out in the middle of no where, id say that's reasonable.

As for the dude peeing through someones letter box. if you read the article, it states he was stabbed in the stomach. now if he had repeatedly stabbed the guy id call it intentional murder. but as it was a spur of the moment thing due to feeling threatened in his own home and by constant attacks, id call it manslaughter. he obviously wasn't "trying" to kill him, or he would of made sure of that before the ambulance arrived. instead the guy got rushed to hospital where he died later from his wounds.

Its murky water what is classed as reasonable force. and i think the law should be more specific in cases like this as to what is acceptable and what isn't. as peoples ideas of "reasonable force" varies.

You could also call into play temporary insanity as the poor guy had been driven into flipping by the constant fear and attacks.

So even if he did stab him with the intention at that moment of killing him there is a very strong case for manslaughter.
