Hi, im planning a manual conversion in my SWB auto TT and have found a good manual conversion from a 2+2. I have been told the prop shafts for both versions are the same and are only different in the N/A or TT versions. Can anyone confirm or rubbish this?

Cheers, Liam.

NA and TT are different at the diff end. 2+2 are longer than SWB

These are both TT. Top is ex my old S1 manual TT. Below is the one I ordered from the US before I found out the only TT they had in US was SWB.

I think carbon fibre will be out of my budget but i will ring and find out. Do they have a website with phone number. I was hoping to find a used one for under 100 quid like some lwb ones on ebay. Many thanks guys

They are not carbon fibre lol, just lighter than standard props, but you will never have a problem again with centre prop bearing, really makes sense if you can push the budget.

Hi Craig, the ones in the thread youve linked to is talking about the carbon prop, but Jeff is doing the steel/ally props HTH

You dont need anything else - You just need to use the rear half of your current prop, and the front half of the manual prop !

yep,

just to clarify

there are 4 types of rear prop, n/a and tt in either lwb or swb

2 types of front prop (i think) manual or auto,

all should interchange so you would use the front prop from the manual lwb and the back from your tt swb
