Hi peeps,

Last week while on a long drive, I noticed my drive belt started to make noise and I thought may be it was water related problem.

However following day I realised almost all the oil in the power steering pot has gone.

My question is - could this be just a leakage from the pipe or is it the steering pump?

I tried to trace the leak point and it's around where the main pipe from reserviour pot joined the steering pump - very difficult to reach.

Would I be needing another pump or just find a way to tighten the pipe from point of leakage?

BTW car still steer easy like before - not stiff at all

thanks

Ade

I had this, yes it`s a pain to get to. You can try tightening the clip, the bad news is you may have to remove all the intercooler/turbo (plastic) piping to get enough access. I bought a new pipe as the old one had swollen over time and just would`nt seal.
