decisions please

1. Where is the best place to drill a hole in the air valve (in wheel arch), at the obvious point - lowest corner! or are there gubbins inside not to damage?

Or is it best to remove the whole system, as im fed up of keep taking the pipes off to stop the honk.

2. I have a second ctr dash & am installing toys, i want to rewire the electronic damper switch from h/brake to a switch next to clock, anyone done it & any cautions to look out for, before i blow a handfull of fuses?

3. Wheres the best place to fix a oil temp sensor, sump or feed pipe?

4. Since doing the intake & exhaust cans i now have the dumpvalve ttssshhhh on gear change! is this ok? as i dont have them?

is my intake too big 80mm?

5. I have looked & naffed around with the rear bushes & track links, to no avail. It still moves slightly from front to rear but all seems ok, is there a degree of movement as std as i cant find what is worn or needs replacing, - a bit miffed really ???

Thanks

The only one I can answer is the dumpvalve one. Yeah, you should be able to hear the standard re-circulating dumpvalves when you change your intake. It's shouldn't be very loud though.

Rob.

Cheers Rob,

It seems to be getting louder though, or is it just settling in?

Still need help on the above rear rattle situation guys, frown.gif had it all apart & still no (see-able) problem.

Could it be the rear steering rack internals???

Everything else is in quite good order! & i've a box full of bits i've taken off & examined (all ok) to replace so far!
