hey there, not that im trying to start a civil war lol, but wales is a bloody big place! could we not have 2 groups, one for north and one form south? i mean, if someone in Barry organises a meet its going to be no good for any of us in the north and vice verca. i just thought we might get a few more meetings etc if it was a little more localised

paintballing would be cool!!!!!!! like i said, its deffo notihng against south wales in any way, but if everyone has massive distances to drive it just kinda stops things happening so often. and ide be all for having big meets all together every so often, it just makes things more do-able :-)

shame not much action on the welsh side of the club and like you said we are scattered about all over wales mate,i wonder how many 300s in wales and how many are in the club,as alot of the members go quiet,and id say alot use the club for tech help rather than meets as that side of things is second to none.

i know, tis a shame. i reckon if a few more things were organised a fair few would turn up. soon as we get xmas outta the way ill see what i can get together :-)

most people in north wales link up with the north west group just for distance etc...but nout wrong with new ideas and meeting points!?

i just thought that if we get a few of us north lads together we might be able to get a few more meets in. i mean theres sooooo much awesome scenery around here we cant be short of meeting places :-) theres all around llangollen an horseshoe pass for a start, great roads and great photo opps. and all the hills around Ruthun are great for shots :-) plenty of nice pubs around too. where u from ck?

I think a split may be the way to go, I tried to organise a few meets in the South but only managed one where more than 1 other person would turn up! I'm going to try again next year as there are a few more South members now but I'm not holding my breath.

i know im new but id be up for a south meet up.

no worries pal, im easy either way really, it depends on what the majority want to do. no point in splitting for the benefit of meets etc if most would rather meet somewhere mid wales :-) would be intersting to see what people think though

That’s it exactly mate last time it was put to vote it didn’t get enough votes to even consider a split :( i think there are more members down south with Z's etc

lol thanks mate i don’t mind taking on the REO role if its to be done and would happily organise meets etc or even if another local member would like the role it should be considered with me already being a moderator

the welsh site very slow as you know mate and like i said alot of people use it for tech help,id be happy with meets as long as its cars etc shows you know,i do find it hard with family for meets thats why i go to japfest each year can plan ,i think with alittle help from north and south we could sort meets out with local shows plus drives etc good luck mate.
