I'm not that keen on people splashing cash on me, even at Xmas. Just think that there's so much more they could do with it!

But as per usual, my folks are pestering me about what I want for Xmas, so in a bid to silence them and not have them go and spend more money than they need to, I thought I might get them to buy me a pair of skirts for the Zed (inc door fillers off course!). Problem is...I can't decide what would suit as I already have A/M front and back.

So...anyone have any opinions? I'm not a fan of skirts with the little holes in them but will consider all otehrs. I am a big fan of Carmad's work so have been checking his skirts out and quite fond of the S Style (LWB)....

So...ideas? post up pics if you can!

Here's my zed:

Well, fan of skirts or not i think your car DEFINATELY needs them to make the stunning front and rear line up properly. I have Car.Mads smoothed side skirts on mine which i love. you can see the pics opn my car respray thread.

Agree 100% -

I also have carMad smooth skirts and i think they look lush, certainly not over the top or anything, you can check my Rides out to see. AND his stuff fitted first time no probs, i can wholeheartedly recommend. :thumbup1:

Good stuff guys, thanks. I'll check the rides soon as I get home (crazy busy at work!).

I agree 100% that I need skirts to finish off the look but have been hesitant as already crunched the front and back a lot already due to sitting on lowering springs only. Was hoping to get some coilovers before messing with the kit anymore...

Lol, fair enough Vig, get some smooth skirts, will match the rest of the kit nicely.

I have 2 types of smooth skirts. Smooth ones and type S

I think i smmoth ones would suit the best. Have a nice slash at the front and tail off smooth to the rear so it would really match your kit well.

Take a look at the link in my sig for pics :)

Looks spot on that mate. A very very tidy motor. the colour and everything looks really fresh

Those were the two I was looking at to be honest. Prefer the look of the type S but not sure how it would look on my zed.

Can't really notice a slash at the front of the smooth ones though...do you have any other pics? Are these the same that j1mmytt has on his? Problem for me is the rear skirt being so smooth and the front being the opposite :mad2:

I think the type s might be to smooth tbh. Look at the pic above you can see the line at the bottom where it comes out to a point/ slash looking lol!!!

So aggresive at the front smooth at the rear.

The s type are smooth all along there close to james but his are stillen ones :)

Really like that mate! Cheers...didn't see this pic at work....

....still not 100% that will go with my front end though...hmm...this is going to be harder than i thought!! lol

I think it will suit your car nice, but you should get them blended in and add fill the door line. That way it would suit your car much better.

How do yo mean blended in? I was thinking to keep the swage line as it matches with the front. Shame there's no such feature on the back though...

The main problem you have is a daft rear bumper :tt2:

lol...oi! :tongue_smilie:

I really like it but it clashes with the front so much!
