Suggestions please....last year at Dalkeith wasnt bad however it aint very central for the west coast lads.

 

Is there somewhere midway that anyone can recommend.

 

Probably best making it around the first or second week after that everybody tends to get a bit busy.

Get paid on tuesday so will be right back on it, both zeds have there plenums off now

and i will be sending the rocker covers of the black zed into get powder coated then

will need lots of pipes replaced for a rebuild in a few weeks.

I fairly enjoyed that place were i first met you all and wouldn't mind the run back there.

 

I could meet up with the others and they could follow me up.

lol I'm always out of funds for the Z, though I did a little work on it tonight.

 

I de-badgered it..........went over one of the fookers on Saturday night.

 

A bit of spirited driving on some twisties, came round a corner and it was lying deed in a heep right in the middle of my side of the road. Didnt want to swerve at 60 odd mph so tried to take it centre on and hoped I would go over it.

It might have worked in the BMW but the Z is too low, the fooker caught the broken front edge of my undertray twisting it back, then proceeded to splatter itself along the underside of the car.

 

Sneeked the car into the work tonight, and picked of all the blubbery bits before the maggots start hatching. And also had a good look around the back of the engine area incase the undertray had scooped up any big bits, heed guts or similar.

 

Undertray is now in the bin, so need a new one

Nah the first place was at the carvery in Livingston, a roast dinner for the price of a KFC :)

Was in the Garage in Motherwell for ages while I sent the clutch off to Rps in the states for them to fix. Just got it Mot'd last week but been super busy at work so it only has the 2 front seats in at present and the dashboard is the only other thing to be removed before I can set about rebuilding it all. Got some pieces to pick up from the trim shop and various other interior bits still to be returned from a carbon fibre guy. Longest project ever!!!

Yes mate, it was the strosek one I had stripped down and got resprayed. Check out my rides page and you will see the difference from before! Time has been the biggest issue but hoping to get it all finished very soon.

Hope to see it in the flesh soon, Its looking really good and I do like the front bumper but i'd have kept the original :)

Yes I'm missing the Z. And it's been on Pistonheads and ebay since the day it went. Weird. Never got the merc. will be looking for a V70R next year - nice quiet family estate car:wink:
