Set the Air Con to Auto and Econ, that way the Air Con compressor is not being used and the misting does not happen but you do get air circulation.

I think I understood that, but have you perhaps got the rec (recirculate) option on ?

That makes the windows steam up quite quickly.

I find that when its raining and damp outside, the car steams up very quickly, must be well sealed in the Z! The only way I have to shift it is to use the de-mist option with air-con (you have no choice when you select it) This shifts it big style and also clears the rear window! Doesnt happen on a normal day!

I find the only time that happens is when you get in the car in wet clothes or when the recirculate function is on. The rest of the time mine stays clear.
