Hi all, been a while but I'm back with a new Zed.

Just bought this last weekend from croeso, some of you will probably know it....

...but those who dont I'm sure you'll see it at future meets and events.

These are some of croeso's pics as I've not took any myself yet.

It's really good to be back behind the wheel of the Z32, especially this one.

Must say I prefer this to the 350Z I had previously which was something of a let down after owning a 300ZX TT before that.

What do you all think?

Did I do good?

Yeah mate you'll likely see me out and about.

The previous owner (before Croeso) who had the Strosek fitted thought it would be a good idea to fill the panel gaps between the bumpers and the wings when the kit was all fitted, and naturally these have started to fracture.

So I'm having the bumpers removed, filler cleaned out then bumpers refitted with a panel gap as they should have been in the first place then painting front and rear bumpers, front wings, rear quarters, skirts and possibly the bonnet as there are a few tiny stone chips dotted about.

Also the rear panel is going to be satin black.

Have a similar problem with the bumpers on my W/A, I would like the gaps put back between the front wings and bottom sill as well so you can remove the wings if necessary.... Would make things much easier!

Sounds like when you have finished most of the car will have been resprayed?

Be sure to post up some pics once you have the work done, not enough wide arch's on here.

Yes bigh everything bar the doors, tailgate and roof areas will be repainted, I'll defo get some pics up when it's complete, he's opening up this Sunday for me to drop it in so he can get cracking with it at start of play monday morning which is nice of him.

...and on the tyre situation...

The rear tyre I ordered never happened, the supplier made a mistake, and after trying many other tyre shops it turns out Avon are not producing that particular tyre (ZZ3) for another 5 weeks or so and I'd have to order one from them directly, so I fitted a pair of new Michelin Pilot Sports instead, and they'd better not burst lol.

Well, funny enough on the Zrun Europe last year his front left tyre hit a pot hole and broke as well, he had to borrow my alloy wheel and i had to drive back to his house on a space saver lol.

Yeah I've seen the pics of it, how unlucky was that?

Whats all this about fat kids and cake shop doors?

It's a joke but the car does seem to have been unlucky this year with punctures.

Hopefully that will be the last, I'll be keeping a close eye out for dodgy looking stray nails, glass etc or anything that might cause a puncture lol.

The bodyshop guy is a friend of the family so it's not going to be as expensive a job as it should be if you catch my drift.

Alexandra Bridge Coachworks

I've been taking cars there for years on end mate and I never knew the name of the bodyshop until Sunday morning when I dropped the car off, how ignorant is that?

There it was in biggish letters right above the front door lol.

It'll be ready to pick up on Friday morning, looking forward to it.
