Just wondering what sort of bhp figures i could expect with the following mods.

Forged Bottom end

Stage 1 Hybrid tubs

Ported inlet manifold

FMIC

Mines ecu or will change if needed

Apexi AVCR Boost Controller

HKS Air Filter

Decat straight through exhaust

Main underdrive pully

lightened flywheel

with the 555 injectors over 400+ BHP that's a cert. supporting mods? N/A rear diff, large radiator, performance fuel filter, bigger brakes

ive got the koyo rad and bigger brake setup to go on the car also, Whats this about an NA rear diff though??

Ah right, does that mean you loose on top end??? not that it matters as i never get that fast anyway lol

Not sure if you can fit a diff with a prop. i think its one or the other.

Yeah you will lose top end. to about 165 mph so not bad

Well I havent bought the prop yet! didnt know if i can use my existing auto swb prop or not when i do the conversion??

Jeff knows Its somthing like you need the rear part of an na and the front off a TT or somthing like :)

I think it is imperative that you get the 555 injectors, I have a very similar set up apart from the hybrids that I inherited from the previous owner. The last time it was dyno'd it made around 410 fwhp and the main thing that is holding it back are the injectors, I think you would easily make 450 but only with the injectors!

Cool thanks for the heads up, Looks like im gonna be needing injectors aswell.

you will deffo need the 555s for that sort of setup. I did once consider the N/A diff route, but there was quite a bit of advice saying the standard N/A diff won't be able to handle a lot of power (no-one's ever come up with a figure though). Yes its possible to do the prop as well, you can modify the flanges at one end so you can mate one end to the N/A diff and the other end to a TT gearbox.

Hasn't silver bullet got a N/A rear diff on his? first time I've heard that the N/A wont be able to handle the power?

don't know, and the members profiles page is down as well as the private messages so I can't check Rides. I've heard it mentioned several times, but no-one's suggested a max reliable figure (if one exists that's different to a TT differential). it was enough to put me off having the conversion done which is a shame as i was looking forward to the weight loss (e.g. hicas removal via subframe swap) and the tighter accelleration.

well its the same diff as used in an s14 and ive never heard of one of those going and some run silly power inc rb26s and chevy ls1s etc

Myself and Silverbullet have the NA rear end (on a TT). Although Mark has a lot more road use with his than I have.

I have heard of a NA diff being destroyed, and another of driveshafts shearing, but in both cases it was very high powered examples on Slicks being drag launched. The NA diff is a R200, which came in various guises on most Nissan performance models (sx, gtr...etc). Im not worried about it myself.

So you think an na diff with a modifield single piece prop should be ok on a car running 400-450bhp? id rather have a quick launch then a high top speed as ill never ever use it?

400ish tops with those mods, the tubs wont gain you much being stage one as thats just a thrust bearing upgrade. You will be able to gain a few psi safely but they wont set the world alight im afraid.Youd do well by porting the heads to get as much as possible from the tubs if you could.

Ive got the heads being rebuilt as we speak, however they do not do porting & Polishing, So im gonna have to have a look around for a company to do that, Any ideas what sort of cost this would be, just so i have a rough idea and aint gonna get shafted.

Cheers
