Been trying to play Modern Warfare 2 on there, holy crows I am bottom every game. The kids on there can find and kill you on any level in less than 30 seconds!!. Quite often I get nailed as fast as I spawn, some sicko just follows me around slitting my throat all the time.

 

So I spent time yesterday reading up on all the spaces to hide and all the jumps etc. Noooo help at all they all know about them and pick you off with head shots using sniper rifles when you go for any of them.

 

Question: before I can even pull the triggers to aim and fire I am dead. In the game you can be close then pull the left trigger and fire and it would auto aim. Is this facility available on xbox live as a perk? if so how do you get it? if not Im gonna get trashed every game. The users message me telling me they dont want me on their team as I am a "****er and blood donor etc"

Someone was also telling me that if you have a PS3 you get to play MW2 in a shell suit when you are good at it. Goes to show that they must be a northern thing?

no auto aim as far as I know. You just have to suck it up untill you get some skill :) Completing the single player campaign a couple of times is great for increasing skill, remember to turn OFF auto aim and after you have completed the campaign, go back and do it again at a higher level. :)

Also you have the special ops missions, wich are great for training, and you can bring a friend to back you up :)

Lol , no auto aim online bud and i know what you mean about these kids playing , you,ll see a gamer tag like .. Sn1p3r.. something or other who,s at prestige ten and runs around no scoping with a sniper rifle or killing you with a throwing knife , you hear them when the mic,s on and they,re about 8 years old !!!!!!

I must admit i,ve backed out of loads of games mainly when you can see someones boosting but quite a few times when i,ve had my arse handed to me on a plate by a kid !! just to save face . lol :blush::blush::blush:

to be honest martin I hate doing them games as I also get slaughtered, would much rather doing online co-op mode where you either go through all the missions with a mate or the spec-op missions. Far better IMO.

I have done the mission (but only once) and completed the special ops with my mate and done all the other MOH games.

 

I still cant shoot shit, the reflexes these players have is unbelievable, we both see eachother at the same time. As soon as im just pulling the trigger im dead. Even if im behind them they can normally turn around and kill me before I can get enough shots on the target.

 

But I know what you mean about the snipers they shoot eveyone without using a scope most of the time and then do the air strike bit on you again and again.

 

Might have another go at the walkthrough with auto aim off lol

What is your internet connection like? might be that slowing you down? Tiscali use to really struggle with the 1st one when it 1st came out

I tend not to play early evening as there are to many kids on and as you say they are to quick for an old guy like me, I try to keep moving and fire on the run if you stop you are dead! My gamer tag is the same as on here Berrica if you want a bit of practice!

I play against my lad on split screen (not on-line) and I've seen him play against others on-line as well and it is amazing how these youngsters play.

The thing you have to remember is...

1) They are YOUNGER than you.

2) They are FASTER than you.

And 3) they are BETTER than you!! :rofl:

 

Only kidding bud, thing is they are playing all hours they can, which is far more than you or I can.

 

When playing against my lad I take great pleasure in beating him!!! :D But alas it isn't all that often ;)
