Have done about 100 miles this weekend just going here and there, she's tucked up in the garage now after a good cleaning today. Fingers crossed she does me proud, going to be some high maintenance bills on the way though!

Hope all the Z's are going well.

Cheers,

Steve

Forgot the one of the motor, at least what you can see of it, and I thought working on Z's was tight!

What motor? all i can see is an air filter and an alternator:biggrin:

Looks very nice, i do like the hatchback version lol

Very nice Steve a 996 911carrera is a good buy at the moment:thumbup:

Cheers, yup good value at the mo, I don't think they will drop any more though, or at least not a great deal, so it should be an ok investment if I keep it in top nic.

Lol yes, I can't even see how you would change the plugs! Planning on keeping the history up together and getting the annual sevince and checks done by porsche, but I'll be repalcing other parts myself as and when they are needed and if I can get to them lol.

Very nice, To be honest I`ve never liked Porche`s especially 911`s but over the last few years they have really grown on me and take them for what they are now! a fantastic fast drivers car, well done she looks coooool

Cheers guys, Car.Mad, similar to a stock Z with the boost upped a little, the old 3.4 is 300hp, not sure on the torque but will do 176 and 0-60 in low fives. It's a few hundred kilos lighter than the Z though.

All in all a very similar feel.

Very nice. Love the 911.

If I won the lottery, I'd by the latest 911 turbo (3.8 turbo/500bhp/4WD):D:bow:

Yup the 997 turbo is lovely, I took one around Thruxton last year:

Excuse my anoyingly loud wiltshire accent.

Very nice car Steve!!

Hope it serves you well mate....

Cheers, she's been used a fair bit, just been out in her again this evening, time to put her in the garage now for the rest of the week for a good clean underneath and a rest :)

Gorgeous, love it

Great choice of car.... well erm I swear by them had five or six now is she a C2 or C4?

That will waste most things on the road bud... superb handling cars reliable and VERY VERY fast. My Tuned 997 Turbo goes like stink, without question the best and fastest car I have ever owned.

Great toy! really pleased for you

Cheers have wanted one for many years :) It's a C2 so lots of RWD goodness :) I do love the power delivery, just bags of torque from 3k onward in every gear and a great sound.

Perhaps one day a 997, but probably not for a long long time! I think this one will hold a special place though as it was my first 911, so would like to keep it if viable even if I upgrade in years to come.

Mistral blue if my memory serves me correctly, that colour looks really nice with a GT3 aero kit on if that floats your boat later lol.
