Hello all. Would like some advice about a respray. I think I would like to keep it blue maybe an electric blue. Wonder if anyone has any recommendations?

Sweet. how much would it be do get it yellow? can you get me an estimate for the original colour and/or yellow

as an estimate, i think it would be somewhere around £500 for same colour, and probably as i said under £1000 for a colour change. i'll have a word with chewy and see what he says, but you will probably have to take the car down.

Photoshop it and set it as your screensaver, close your eyes when your driving. Never notice the difference :sneaky2:

i wouldnt bother with a cheap respray unless its the same color as it is now, it will devalue the car and look crap when ya open the bonnet or doors and so on

 

why not use the money on the zed, get a lightened flywheel and clutch and make the na a bit quicker?

This was Marc posting as me - the lude is his car, and its his cash! He wanted lil stevie to get on touch too as he lost his number and I'm not allowed to contact lil stevie as his mrs gets all minty about it coz i'm female :innocent:

Buy my black zed for that amount, and then change the turbo engine over, add a new turbo while the engine is out, swap the plenum for a decent one and you have a TT :)

Maybe after uni I'll TT Zedward - not planning on anything major now tho, it goes off the road end of the month and I get saving for MY daily driver ready for going on uni placements.....

AHEM!!! I refer you to my previous point about it being Marc's car!! Believe me, if it was down to me I would not have sold the Celica! Lil Stevie's mate is glad he did tho! Was a fab car, had £1000's spent on it.

The lude is nice tho, fully loaded for 800 notes, seems faster than the Celica too, which is a bonus.

And I will be getting some cheap to run, noddy in toytown piece of hideousness to get me from hospital to hospital!

To an extent, thats cool! Actually he did offer me the micra for a knock down price but i wouldn't have took it off him for that
