Thought Flux were supposed to me specialists in imported/modded/fast cars - quoted me THREE TIMES what More Than quoted me via confused.com. FFS!!

I'm am as old as god and have been driving yonks, and yes Marc is a lot younger and not as much driving experience but neither of us has ever claimed/got any points etc. Cannot see where they get these figures from!

Best quote so far fully comp is £611 which is a bit eye watering but better than almost £2k which most of these rip off merchants want to charge!

Flux came out really good for me with all mods declared! A few guys I know kept going on about Sky insurance & how much cheaper they are than flux but wanted about £200 or so more for the same cover.

Strange how it varies so fookin much!!

have you tried Livingstone and Warman? i pay £500 a year fully comp with ALL mods declared on a cherished car policy, i'm in my (cough) early thirtys, i have 6 points and 3 years no claims. it covers me to drive any other car with owners permision as well

I have filled in their form online, but the car's not old enough for a cherished car policy but I'll see what they can offer. Sky insurance said they couldn't get close to the fully comp quote More Than gave (£611 protected NCB, £200 total excess) - then they called me back, the lad said he'd spoke to his manager who said they could offer me fully comp, without protected NCB and £350 excess for £650. Oh how we laughed....
