as the title suggests. mine struggles to do 30mph in 3rd, think it sits at about 2000 rpm and it struggles without stuttering. thinking on it seems to stutter at any steady speed realy. feels ok accelerating though.

i can sit quite comfortably at 30 in 4th @ 1.5k revs, 5th is ok but hit a hill and you can tell the engine is starting to strain a bit mainly due to it being around 1.2k revs pulling 1.5ton of car.

Mine will sit at 30mph in 5th reasonably happy and pull away OK, but its much happier in 4th at 30mph.

Got to remember the gearing as well, quite tall.

I can do 30mph in 5th as long as its on the flat although its happier to do 30 in 4th. Man your car needs a hug lol

Yep mine would quite happily do 30 in 5th, even down to about 25 but anything below that it'll start to struggle.

that is verry possible, i did have one before, it was just a little one in a little bit of pipe (about 6mm) just snipped the pipe short and reconneccted it and it was ok. that was easy to find though because it was hisssing. how would i go about finding one now?

Mine sometimes struggles to sit at 30 in 4th, I had put it down to having a lightened fly wheel i.e. no inertia to keep the engine spinning properly at low revs.
