I'm sure when I first started coming on here a few years ago there was a thread that had a list of free improvements like removing things that weren't necessary etc - where has it gone? Or am I thinking of another site? - if so can someone point me in the right direction lol.

Cheers for the link groover. I have looked at the FAQ and used the search facility but can't find what I seem to recall being a link to specific mods and removals that didn't require you buying anything to do them. Or is it just a case of everything's in the FAQ section but its no longer under a 'free mods' thread?

Everything should be in the faq section, which is in the free section anyway, but if you want specific sites that have the mods, here are a few that might be what you are looking for.http://www.twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/tech/tech.aspx

Sorry mate I think I'm confusing you - must be the way I'm wording things cause it's late. I'll try again - I thought there was a thread containing links to guides etc telling you what improvements you could make to your zed without the need for any new parts. Although I'm sure it's all actually in the FAQ somewhere I just thought I remembered there being a list so that I haven't got to read through all the threads to find out whether they involve buying new parts or not. Thanks for looking and trying to help anyway.

I think your refering to a thread I started years ago that became sticky so that all newcomers could see it, I have no idea where it may have gone but sure it must be in the archives somewhere.

That's it SuffolkZX! Cheers for that mate. I knew I hadn't imagined it. Musn't have come up under search cause I put free mods instead of modifications :hammer:

Dont know where it went or why, its now a sticky in the faq section

Cheers

My question appears to have been deleted ??

Any reason for it?. Was it offensive to someone?

It was pointless, you have been here long enough to know what sites or links are allowed and which are not lol, i was going to PM you with the reason, but for obvious reasons could not. Hope this clarifies the reason.

I was not aware there was a list of "ok links" and "forbidden links" but I get the picture now. Thanks for responding.

Its just common sense Stu, the links i posted are for tech info from US sites apart from AndyP's site, i think we both know what you are getting at, so best just leave it there :biggrin:

I wasn't getting at anything and had already left it there.

No, honestly, leave it. :lol::lol:
