hi everyone, i took the zed out for a ride to llangollen today, and was taking it real easy all the way. i decided to open her out on a nice straight, but it wont rev past about 5k???? if you kepe your foot down its as if all power has died untill the revs drop back down to about 4 the it picks up for a little bit up to about 5 again and stalls again!

 

the only thing i should mention is that its bloody wet everywhere today! could all this water have anytihg to do with it????

 

any advice would be greatly appreciated :-)

This is what my car was doing. I took the maf off and left it in the airing cupboard overnight just incase it did get wet, then refitted and checked the ecu codes, it cycled the error, then didnt do it again. seemed to be fine after that.

Check maf and filters first and let it dry for a day if wet. Test the car again. If you still have the same problem, check the coils.
