Got rid of the micra - we hated it!

Anyone got or had a 4 x 4? We need something bigger than a micra really. Kinda wishing we hadn't got rid of Marc's Celica now, but sort of considering a RAV4 or the like

looked like a decent car - anyone got any experience of these?

Brett's got a nice 4 x 4, possibly a Shogun, can't remember tho, and at the meet on Sunday he said he loved it

the tyres that are on it arn't bald. just the standard rims that will be thrown in. it has got a nasty scratch and some carpark rash. let me know though. what prelude are you looking at? i wanted a prelude, verry nearly bought one but the guy wouldn't hand over the reg, so wasn't willing to drive to bradford. 24hours later, stumbled upon the zed!

Its this one http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1912789.htm

I wanted one earlier in the year, couldn't find one, then got the MR2.

Marc's had a text from the bloke advertising it - he's advertising it for a friend, we're waiting to hear back from it. Neither of us has your mobile no any more, so you'll have to watch this space mate!

i run a 5.5 V8 AMG Merc ML very quick and competent picked it up for 7 grand fully loaded .....but my fave soft roader and good fun , nice to drive ,comfortable , economical , roomy practical and cheap is the Honda CRV or if your a bit funky the FRV ..sooooperb little motors and built to last ....

Going back to the veg, i had a 1.9l td xantia very nice car, used to run it on pure rape seed oil from tescos when they sold it at £1.98 for 3 litres, no recycling needed. then changed over to the good stuff, Costco 20 litre drum for £10, you can never get over the look on peoples faces in tescos car park when your standing there putting veg oil direct from the bottle into the tank.

As for using veg, you are allowed to legally use 2500litres before you start getting taxed on it. the law was changed a few years back.

Only xantia with the bosch fuel pump can use veg as the Lucas one grinds to a halt due to the extra thickness of the fuel
