At end of July i sorned my zed , due to one thing and another, holiday, last few bills and starting the going smooth work on the zed.

Every other day i have been starting the zed up, on my drive, nice to hear the rumble. Also continued washing and keeping it clean.

But have been putting a bit aside each month. At the weekend. got new tax, first stop a full tank of go go juice, then over to get a price for new sills, remove high level spolier, and skirts and front end. only to be replaced with 99 spec ront and rear, and a blow over. Over to see Atlast and help do his air ducts and a few other bits. She is running 100% spot on, no issues or anything. Still as quick if not quicker. Wasted loads of fuel, and depth of tires.

Its brutal when in full boost, but a pure joy to drive. Starts, drives and stops as it should.

I can honestly say my zed is the best and most fun car i have ever driven........

Love em..................

I know exactly how you feel, stop driving one even for a few weeks then jump in it and give it a blast and it drives so good its a great feeling:biggrin:

Ooh dont you start as well..... lol

im hoping i get that feeling back soon. after a load of relatively small problems she's been sat out front for a couple of weeks so far and I'm literally 50/50 whether to get rid or not. I found myself seriously considering a 350 instead, especially how cheap they are!!!

I feel the same way Dave and have done for quite a while.

But today i have finally finished the engine bay and now needs a dammm good clean.

Ive only driven it once in a year and it kind of loses its magic :(

Glad your enjoying the zed again Stu, i am also putting a little aside each month for work and mods that i want done so hope it will be late this year or early next for the sorn to be replaced with a new tax disc :D :D

I am really gonna miss driving mine over the winter, although I must admit I don't actually fancy trying to get a rear wheel drive zed out my steep icy driveway, hence the plan to SORN til spring. It'll be a looooong winter though! Glad you're back in your zed now tho!

between JAE 2009 and JAE 2010, i had the pleasure of driving my zed for a total of 3 weeks. Needless to say, i was like a cheshire car when i get her back on the road at the end of august :D:D:D:D

Glad your enjoying her again Stu :D

Mine has been Taxed for 17 months and been off the road for all of that except 4 days..... now the MOT is out and I have missed every deadline I tried to get it on the road for.

Its frustrating but I just want to drive the thing now:whistling:

I think if I was gonna do the whole thing again from start to finnish I would probably try and keep the car on the road and do a job at a time rather than a complete restoration in one go. For a first car restoration it was a massive job and when you go highly modified as well it confuses things even more.

Jimmer is making good progress on the car at the moment so I have everything crossed that one day in the not to distant future I will be able to finally drive the blasted thing :confused1:.

I wanna drive mine :crying::crying::crying::crying:

Wot you doin on here then??:hammer::whistling:
