eletric experts i need a little help. Wanna fit some led's to a switch.

I want to install a switch to toggle between ABS being on and off this is simple enough but i want to install an LED next to the switch so know when its on or off, will also look smart :)

The switch will prob run through an earth wire on the abs ecu or which everwire will work.

How should i go about wiring an led to the switch, heres a diagram of how i think it should be wired im prob wrong but here goes anyway:

don't think it makes any difference mate, that's just how your leds are wired up inside, but you don't need another one anyways with those leds you bought...

The resister is fitted to the annode which is the shorter leg of the two. The led will not illuminate when the resister is on the wrong leg so you cant get it wrong.

The annode is the longer leg of an led and a resistor needs to be soldered to the annode unless wired in series HTH
