HICAS has been removed and all associated pipework has been stripped out. This pipe sits just above the PAS reservoir, can it now be binned?

 

It runs just under the brake master cylinder.

    Thats your clutch bleed pipe. Yes it can be binned, but you will need to replace it with a 1-piece braided hose from the Master to Slave.

     

    I believe zcentre sells one, but alternatively its M10x1 threaded unions and you need about 80cm in length (double check that though, as thats from memory and its been a while).

     

    Doing so will get rid of about 1.5m of unnessasary pipework and makes it a lot easier to bleed.
