Wanted to buy a flying jacker for ages... its one of those things I always wanted but for one reason or other never bought one. Its lovely fantastic quality and I love it. Question is this should I really mess it up, drag it about on the floor get some sand paper to it and stick a few nice patches on it to give it a retro look. Or just wear it and enjoy it as it is (new looking). I really wanted to mess it up but its so nice im still on the fence over it.

 

What do you think?

I bought a USAF style one about 16 years ago and it still fits! Mine cost me about £300 back then and it's aged just nicely now; perfected that "antique" look if you will!

 

I'd keep it new personally; however for that price you could buy another and experiment. If you don't like it once you've done it, stick it on Ebay....

you are right im gonna buy another one, keep one normal and age the other one up. Cant believe just how good quality it is for £125 RAF tagged and endorsed. Real soft leather. So pleased with it I was gonna e-mail the company and I never do stuff like that.

I bought one of the crew jackets of Memphis Belle from the official site just after the film was made back in 1990. It's the more dressy type ones without the fur lining.

I'd post a picture, but I can't find one that is exactly the same as mine.
