I'm sure this will get a flurry of responses and possibly a hot debate will ensue, but just sharing my personal experience.

Now used 2 tankfuls each of Tesco Momentum 99 and Shell V-Power in my Z NA, and I can definitely say that with the Momentum, the car feels better. Obviously both perform better than 95 RON!

Not saying this will be true for everyone, but for me the Tesco product is definitely better. The fact that it's cheaper is a welcome bonus.

Tescos fuel is supplied by BP, same as sainsbury's as well, the trucks turn up with nothing more than a small BP logo on the cabin where i am. so im sure they have struck a deal of some sorts.

I've been filling up with the Tesco stuff and my car runs sweet. Don't know if it's any better than Vpower but it's all good in my JDM import.

ive been told that yes tesco fuel is better than v power.not tried either myself well not in the Z so i might give both a go and see wot happens

I've been using both Tesco regular unleaded and more recently Momentum and not seen any change really. Only reason i started with the higher octane fuel was because the stalling at roundabouts issue returned and it got cured last time by putting better fuel in.
