Well I've been buying bits and bobs that are to do with removal of HICAS but I'm really not sure if I need anything else, or got too much... lol :helpsmilie:

So far I have:-

 

N/A power steering pump

N/A power steering pot

HICAS eliminator bar

Link thing between pipes to remove HICAS unit

various other bits and bobs - unions, washers, blah blah

Should do it, tho' you won't need the link bit if using a n/a pump cos the pipes won't have oil in them.you can remove the big solenoid as well.

Another way to look at is; If you use the fluid bypass pipe I sent you, you don't need an N/A pump or ps pot :whistling:

Sounds like a plan. About to eliminate my hicas. Got any more of these floating about? Want to make it as simple as poss. Sorry for the hijack :shifty:

All you have to do is cut one of the banjo pipes and join it to your pot and job done,

Don't banjo's have strings?! Think I'll leave it to silverbullett to do mine for me. I can rest assured it will be done right. Wish I had the knowledge you guys posses to do this stuff myself. I'm just lucky to be in a job where I can work weekends to pay for it.

Certainly do mate, they're £17 delivered also lets you remove the HICAS solenoid jobber from the engine bay.
