center bearing replacement

ive just done the center bearing today on my zed .

anybody thinking about doing this make sure you have a new 27mm nut for the middle . what a complete PITA getting that thing off . i had to reuse it but christ it was butchered . also make sure you have new gaskets for your exhaust . i managed to buy a kit and make some new ones up but i was lucky that my local car spares place had this in stock , you might not be.

one other bit of advice is to make sure you put a really good mark down the shaft for realignment . i just put a couple of little marks on mine and with all the struggling getting the bloody big nut off i scrubbed all my marks so im just hoping its not too much out of balance .
