When head-unit turned up display flickers with base beat?. Obviously not enough current me-thinks. I have heard a capicitor can be placed in the live connection to help this? Any ideas on type? size?...(This is the cheap temp fix version)

I think what you're talking about is a 1 farad capacitor but I thought these were only used for large amps/subs and not for the actual stereo. They cost around £100, so it would be cheaper to get a new battery I reckon.
