Vauxhall Zafira - any opinions?

Hi all,

We need to buy a 7-seater and will be replacing my wife's Micra.

Does anyone on here own, or owned, a Zafira (1999-2005 model)?

Any advice most welcome.

It's my favourite 7 seater (within a £2-3k budget) as it's small and compact, which is what we need.

Thanks,

Shamaz

Sorry hate the things, I would buy the toyota sorry. When I had my car yard sold 2 of them and both came back with lots of faults.

Had a 52 reg 1.8 Elegance since it was 6 months old and have done 122K with virtually no probs. Interior is wearing well, as is the bodywork. Still drives well and returns 38mpg and everything (apart from one dashboard bulb) still works as it should.

We have regularly used it as a 7 seater and have also transported all manner of large and bulky items. If you do use it regularly as a 7 seater a roofbox is a good option to carry luggage as the space behind the 3rd row of seats isn't that big.

At the end of the day with any car you get a good one or a bad one. If you like the Zafira and meets your needs go out and buy one.

My father had one as a company car for a little while, god knows what the idea behind that was. anyways i think he secretly quite liked it. Try parkers guide , i guess like any car do your home work and make an informed decsion.9 i wish id done taht with my zed haahahahahahah)
