dont know where to start with this, it monday morning and im sittting here crying having read my pms, (you know who you are) i havent logged on in a week as i couldnt bear to see the jae pics, i was so gutted i didnt make it.

for those who know me after eventually getting my home life sorted last nov, gave up smoking in jan, and this year what should have been the happiest year in my life in a long time and i have 2 big health scares, i collapse a couple of times, cat scan etc. they investigate a poss tia, but clear thank god, still having tests but they are talking something like post traumatic stress, having lived on the edge for so long??

then i had a cancer scare, had a biopsy, and was waiting for the results in the weeks coming up to jae, this had been going on for a few weeks previously and i had another procedure, i got the sotra all clear only on the tues/wed of jae week but by that time the ferry was too expensive and i really wasnt with it, my sister was coming as well and she was disappointed, i am stage 1 cell change and will need to get a test every 6 months from now on to monitor it.

Dont know you apart from reading the odd thread , i sold my company in 2001 and thinking more time with the kids , as always working missed alot of there growing up , one with C/P 16 yrs the other healthy highper 20yr old, 5 yrs ago found out ive got two severe worn top two vertabra , cant operate , but paid private to have and small op didnt work , now 6months ago slipped two discs lifting my son into the swimming pool , sorted and now my leg has started playing up , and there doing tests on MS ,haven't told any one apart from Sussex Stu, not even my wife , so i think i know how you feel ,just a positive attitude helps , you will have all your family and mates round you , all the best Shaun

thanks shaun, yes i think i have a fairly positive attitude thank god, its what keeps me going, that and work and my family/friends, not moaning too much its just like, why now, and good luck with your test results, this can be a great place to share your worries, a lot of caring people on here and kinda anon.

Yes JAE was great, but there was just something missing that would have made it the perfect JAE.......Oh that's YOU.

 

Seriously though, you were missed big time. I lost count of the amount of people asking me if you were coming. Me and Shrek were hoping to find you somewhere asleep in your car somewhere on the Friday morning LOL.

Yep it was missing something this year and i agree with Kim, i was really looking forward to some drunken chats, like we did before, so you were missed without a doubt. Infact i never had one drink all weekend, stuck to coffee, but i felt so much better in the morning for it lol.

 

Youre a fighter Trish and you have come through so much, so dont despair, you have friends on here and youre family for support and hopefully you can make it next year to make up for it.
