Just done the maiden voyage after doing the auto to manual conversion and i have no brakes! (It was a very short journey but it was my first clutch pedal and gear change experience in my little shortie:thumbup:!!)

When I depress the brake pedal I hear a hissing sound and the pedal goes very soft. When I start the engine the softness off the clutch pedal doesn't change.

Here's what I have done that may give a clue:-

Used the Manual brake servo and master cylinder from breaker.

Re-routed clutch/brake reservoirs using silicone (no pipe clips/clamps though)

Used the reservoir valves.

T'd clutch servo into Brake servo line in between one way valve and plenum.

Is it a leak? Valve wrong way round?

I hope it's something simple!!

Anyone experienced this before??

Thanks in advance,

Andy

like i said dude, connect the servos straight to the plenum with a check in the line, thus deleting the vac tank. if you still have a problem then, it's your servo. if the problem has gone, it's the vac tank or tank lines ;)

you can also disconnect the servo pipe and give it a blow through . if it blows out your servo is knackered
